Hubcaps.com had our own “brush with celebrity” not long ago! Jesse James, custom bike builder and star of Discovery Channel’s Monster Garage, bought some wheelcovers from us for a special project.
Jesse’s crew purchased 4 of our NIS022 caps. This hubcap is called a “beehive” cap and was used on the Datsun B210 from 1975 to 1979. The beehive style caps were a perfect compliment to Jesse’s crazy honeybee “drift car” that he made from a classic 1975 Datsun B210. It was easily the most powerful bee on the track, with a brand new Nissan 350Z engine packed into the old B210 body!
