I’ve always wanted to go to Argentina. when I’m there, I’d take a look at the Chevrolet Hubcaps to see how nice they are. I can’t tell if they’d look the same as they do here in the United States, but I’d sure like to study the differences.
By 1924, GM had started importing Chevrolet Double Phaeton models over there & to their surprise, they were greatly welcomed. The next year, because they wanted to reduce costs in the Argentine market, GM decided to start manufacturing in Argentina.
They started producing a sedan, a roadster, a truck chassis and the Chevrolet Double Phaeton, now called “Especial Argentina”, a model exclusively designed for the Argentinean market. You can’t forget about the Chevrolet Hubcaps that they made to go with all these cars.
Take me to Argentina!
