In all of Audi’s post VW-era model, you can immediately tell that Audi strictly refused to adopt the traditional rear-wheel drive layout that’s favored by both Mercedes & BMW. They either went with front-wheel drive or all wheel drive for their Audi Hubcaps & different wheels.
The most of Audi’s lineup here in the United States features all wheel drive standard on most of its expensive vehicles .. which is on almost of their cars & on mostly all of their wheels with Audi Center Caps on them. For most of Audi’s lineup, it hasn’t really adopted that transverse engine layout that you’ll usually find in economy cars. The main reason why they haven’t installed it is because it would limit and also affect the type and power of engines that can be installed.
I want one of those engines in my car!
