Seriously, the van looks so big – I wonder how the Villager Hub Caps carry all that weight! I guess that just means they’re strong, right?
When people were driving around station wagons when the gas was going up, that’s when the Villager and the Villager Hub Caps came out. It was the next best thing to a station wagon, but it got amazing gas mileage.
The cool thing about this van was that it was bigger than a standard short-wheelbase minivan and smaller than extended competitors van. Even though it had a new design when it was rereleased in 1999, the size and seating configurations pretty much stayed the same – the only things that were different were the Villager Hub Caps that came on each model. They wanted to make the car look as enticing as possible.
