The Ford Freestar and Freestar Hub Caps were first introduced back in 2004 to serve as a replacement for the Windstar. Even though Ford marketed it as an all-new car, everyone knew that it was just the Windstar with a different name, some minor changes, and some new Freestar Hub Caps .
The Freestar had more powerful V6 engines compared to the Windstar .. but since it was a V6, it was bound to waste a lot of gas. All the features that the WIndstar had, the Freestar made it 2x better – or at least that’s what it seemed like. As soon as it came out, I don’t think that Ford was going to know that sales were going to be that bad.
When the Freestar was out, it stayed the same throughout its production duration, so you can’t really find any major differences between the years. So if you’re the type of person that doesn’t like change, this one is for you.
